Scouting Report
Owns an ideal catchers' frame (5'11", 220 pounds) and can also hit right-handed pitching with aplomb. Also, he is somewhat patient and can draw walks regularly. His home-run power has improved over time. Lacks consistency at the dish. Was forced to abandon switch-hitting due to a lack of success against left-handers, which lessens his value in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Backup catcher.
