What does it give the Los Angeles Angels
Perdomo, a left-handed reliever, will provide bullpen depth for the Angels. The 30-year-old is working his way back from elbow surgery. In his previous MLB experience, he showed good strikeout ability but also struggled with his control. Perdomo should challenge for a middle relief job this season, though he could end up pitching in the minors as well.
What does it give the Atlanta Braves
Perdomo never pitched for the Braves, though he was part of their organization while rehabbing last season. He still has the potential to be part of a big league bullpen, so Atlanta was able to secure a player to be named later or cash for the left-hander.
Fantasy impact
Perdomo will have a better opportunity to re-establish himself with the Angels. However, he appears unlikely to pitch more than low-leverage innings early on. That will keep him off the fantasy radar for now.
