WOLFRAM FOR CAMERON
The Baltimore Orioles acquired pitcher Grant Wolfram from the Milwaukee Brewers for outfielder Daz Cameron and cash.
What does it give the Baltimore Orioles
In Wolfram, the Orioles bring in a tall left-handed relief pitcher. The 28-year-old has yet to make his MLB debut, though the Brewers signed him to the 40-man roster ahead of the 2025 season. Wolfram pitched effectively in recent minor-league seasons, so he could get a look in Baltimore's bullpen sometime soon. He was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after the trade.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers designated Wolfram for assignment shortly before this trade, and they chose to add to their outfield depth here instead. Cameron, who has speed and some power, is not currently on the 40-man roster, so he will need to impress in the minors to earn a look with the MLB club. Milwaukee added some cash in this transaction as well.
Fantasy impact
This trade won't have a fantasy impact. Both Wolfram and Cameron will be in the minor leagues, and would likely only be depth players if either earns a call up.
