What does it give the Minnesota Twins
The Twins add to their pitching depth with the addition of Davis. The right-hander has really struggled against MLB hitters in his career (8.95 ERA in 57.1 IP). Perhaps he can turn it around with Minnesota, but he should primarily be an option for them in the minors.
What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers traded for Davis earlier this season, but he allowed 14 runs in just 6 innings of work. He was designated for assignment soon after a rough outing. Los Angeles will move on with some cash from Minnesota.
