BROCK STEWART SENT TO THE DODGERS

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired pitcher Brock Stewart from the Minnesota Twins for outfielder James Outman.

What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
Stewart was originally drafted by the Dodgers, so he returns to his original team with this trade. The 33-year-old right-hander has been very good for Minnesota this season, so he should help the Dodgers–probably in a middle relief role.

What does it give the Minnesota Twins
Outman is a good defensive center-fielder who has never been able to secure an everyday role in the big leagues. With the Twins, Outman will likely serve as a backup to Byron Buxton, especially now that Harrison Bader has been traded.

Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as both Stewart and Outman are likely going to serve depth roles with their new teams.
