The Bears are committed to improving their offensive line so that young quarterback Caleb Williams can better develop. To that end, Jackson has been brought in for a late draft pick. Versatile Jackson is expected to play right guard in 2025.

A year ago, the Rams signed Jackson to a three-year contract as a free agent. However, it did not pan out for Los Angeles. So, they decided to move on from the offensive lineman just one year into his deal. They did not receive much in return.
