The Texans are going to be without the injured Tank Dell for a large chunk of 2025. They also face the likelihood that veteran Stefon Diggs will leave via free agency. Therefore, more help at wide receiver was required. Kirk adds depth and is a likely option in the slot for Houston.
What does it give the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars were rumored to be on the verge of releasing Kirk, so getting a seventh-round pick in next year's draft is better than nothing! Kirk was disappointing as a member of the Jags last season, so moving on from him was always in the cards for Jacksonville.
