TUNSIL TRADED TO WASHINGTON

The Washington Commanders acquired offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and a fourth-round draft pick in 2025 (No. 127 overall) from the Houston Texans for a third-round draft pick in 2025 (No. 79 overall), a seventh-round draft pick in 2025, a second-round draft pick in 2026 and a fourth-round draft pick in 2026.

What does it give the Washington Commanders
This is a massive move for a Commanders squad that has great aspirations in 2025. In order to surpass the Super Bowl-champion Eagles, they need to better protect franchise QB Jayden Daniels. Enter Tunsil, an elite left tackle when healthy. This should help Washington inch a little closer to Philadelphia.

What does it give the Houston Texans
The Texans surprised many with their decision to trade Tunsil, one of the best players at his position in the National Football League. They moved up 48 places in this year's draft, which is not nothing, and added three more picks (two of which are for next year's selection process). Was this move a mistake?

Fantasy impact
Tunsil will impact Daniels and the rest of the Washington offense indirectly, but there is no direct fantasy impact here.
