CB ELAM DEALT TO DALLAS BY THE BILLS

The Dallas Cowboys acquired cornerback Kaiir Elam and a sixth-round draft pick in 2025 from the Buffalo Bills for a fifth-round draft pick in 2025 and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are taking a flier on a former first-round cornerback here, as Elam will probably start out his Dallas career as a backup. Elam was in need of a change of scenery.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
The Bills decided to move on from Elam, who was a major disappointment for them and had fallen down the depth chart over time. They received minimal draft pick compensation.

Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as Elam will first need to prove he can be a starting cornerback in the NFL. It has not happened yet.
