The Houston Texans acquired offensive guard Ed Ingram from the Minnesota Vikings for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the Houston Texans
Ingram adds more depth along the interior of the offensive line in Houston. The Texans have Juice Scruggs (who can also play center) and free-agent addition Laken Tomlinson as the projected starting guards, but Ingram will compete with both.
What does it give the Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings have decided to move on from Ingram, who was a second-round draft pick in 2022 and who never fully realized his potential. He was benched at one point in 2024, so the writing was on the wall. Minnesota will get a '26 sixth-rounder.
