Taillon (7-4) took the loss against the Brewers on Thursday, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with two strikeouts over four innings.
Taillon and the Cubs won't face the Brewers on Wednesday, as the game was postponed due to rain, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Owns a mammoth frame (6'5", 230 pounds), great stuff and an even better feel for pitching. Sets up hitters well and can pretty much place pitches wherever he wants. His changeup could use some work, and will likely only be an average pitch for him in the big leagues. Gets into trouble when he lacks confidence. Injuries are a major issue with him.
