Beede agreed to a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Scouting Report
Can generate good velocity on his fastball from his strong lower base. Three of his offerings (two-seam fastball, four-seam fastball and curveball) can be above-average pitches in the big leagues. Lacks command with all of his pitches, so he needs to improve greatly in this area in order to maximize output in Major League Baseball. Also, his cutter and changeup are below-average pitches.
Long Range Potential: Talented, inconsistent right-hander with upside.
