Stephenson is still feeling "a little lingering discomfort" in his right bicep but is hopeful to start throwing during the Angels' nine-game homestand that begins Friday, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
Stephenson had two MRIs that showed no structural damage to his right biceps, and he's been diagnosed with a stretched nerve, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Owns an excellent fastball-curve combination, which leads to plenty of strikeouts at lower levels. His changeup is also a decent complementary pitch. His delivery is smooth and clean. Needs to learn to become more pitcher than thrower in certain key situations, and generally work on his consistency. At times he tends to rely too heavily on his fastball.
Long Range Potential: Talented right-hander (when healthy).
