Scouting Report
Confident, poised, and has a plan on the mound. Works quickly and does a nice job spotting the ball throughout the strike zone. He sets batters up well, and then shows excellent off-speed and breaking stuff to put them away. Has shown he can both start and relieve capably. Not overpowering (either with his fastball or with his breaking ball options) and sometimes leaves offerings up in the zone, leading to his share of home runs yielded. Will need to keep refining his approach in the majors.
Long Range Potential: Solid, efficient, swingman.
