Konchar racked up four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 16 minutes during Saturday's 117-115 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Konchar finished with five points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block over 17 minutes during Thursday's 114-108 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
A dominant star in college at IPFW (Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne), he became the first player in NCAA Division 1 history with at least 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 assists and 200 steals. The combo guard can both shoot and distribute the basketball, which adds to his overall value as a scoring guard off the bench in the NBA. While he does own a very solid jumper and three-point shooting ability, he needs to improve his free throws in order to maximize his minutes.
