Amadi amassed 65 tackles (52 solo), including two sacks, and seven passes defended while appearing in 11 regular-season games for New Orleans in 2024.
Amadi recorded seven tackles (five solo) including 1.0 sacks and a pass defensed during Sunday's 20-19 loss versus the Commanders.
At 5'9", he is stocky for a safety but thick and physical with playmaking skills on defense and special teams. Is ideally suited for early-down run support, where he can use his power and hand strength to stuff the gaps. Highly productive in college, he can excel at pass breakups (he registered two pick-sixes as a senior, while adding a punt return touchdown). Is vulnerable on downfield and boundary coverage due to his height deficit; he can be exploited by tall receivers. May have to settle for nickel/blitz packages, the return game and backup duty at the highest level.
