Uncommonly well-rounded at defensive end. He shows superb awareness, smarts, and hand technique in shedding blocks early then making plays all over the field. A definite sack artist who nonetheless does a great job of both stuffing the run and making plays dropping back in pass coverage. Gets his hands up. Has deceptive quickness off the snap and can be a big-play guy all over the field. While quick and instinctive, he doesn't always show ideal intensity, fluidity, and foot-speed down the field. Less explosive than quick, and sometimes looks stiff in the open field. Also not ideally-sized for a classic NFL defensive end. Would benefit from more polish and consistency.
