The Vikings signed Oliver to a three-year, $23.25 million contract on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Oliver finished the 2024 regular season with 22 catches for 258 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games.
Groomed primarily as a receiving tight end, he has the length and athleticism to become a downfield threat as well as a slot/possession target. A proficient route runner with excellent body control and leaping ability, he gets great extension and his big hands allow him to make the improbable catch. Adjusts well to errant throws. Struggles with physicality, so he must win more 50/50 balls. His lower body lacks strength for in-line blocking, which could limit his snap count at the highest level. His overall blocking skills are a detriment.
Long Range Potential: Solid, receiving tight end with some upside.
