Johnson and the Saints agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $30.75 million contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Johnson (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 18 matchup against the Buccaneers.
An outside receiver with tight end-like attributes, he employs size rather than speed to create separation from defenders. Leverages his tall, thick frame to box out and win positional battles; he possesses the length to extend for off target throws. Is a physical runner with the strength to break tackles and add yards after the catch. Shines as a run blocker; he smothers cornerbacks and creates running lanes. Was not a featured receiver and had durability issues in college.
Long Range Potential: Lacks sharpness and agility in his routes. Utility wide receiver and red zone target.
