Coach Jonathan Gannon said Wednesday that Murphy-Bunting underwent surgery on his knee to address the injury that landed him on Arizona's NFI list, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Murphy-Bunting (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list by the Cardinals on Thursday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
The aggressive cornerback definitely knows where the ball is; he grabbed interceptions in each of his first three NFL playoff games. He has good ball skills, is willing to do his part as a tackler and shows signs of cutting down on his missed tackles. Also, he is faster than he appears.
Long Range Potential: Solid cornerback.
