The Cowboys placed Diggs (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.
Diggs (knee) is likely to open training camp on the PUP list after undergoing surgery for a cartilage issue in January, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Tall and lanky, he has everything required to be a shutdown corner at the National Football League level. He is excellent against the run and has natural instincts to get the football back for his team, one way or another. Can even be used in blitz packages. He plied his trade at the University of Alabama before turning pro, so he is well schooled at the art of covering top wide receivers.
