The Raiders are signing White to a one-year contract Friday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
A heat-seeking hitter, he has a natural attraction to the football and can amass big tackle counts. The 2018 Butkus Award winner is a born run stopper and tireless pursuer with the speed to close quickly and drop his target. A converted high school running back, he has a thick, stocky frame and sideline-to-sideline range. Also has a great appetite for contact, is extremely competitive and will go for the strip. Is still learning the nuances of his position; his aggressiveness can be exploited and he lacks ideal height when asked to drop into coverage.
Long Range Potential: Talented run-stopping linebacker with upside.
