The Buccaneers placed Hall (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Hall (leg) was ruled out for Week 2 against the Lions by head coach Todd Bowles on Monday, while also adding the injury is probably season-ending, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
The fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft wasted no time establishing himself as an NFL defensive back who breaks up a lot of passes. His quick feet and long arms help him challenge a sizeable percentage of throws. He is probably a better fit in zone coverage because of his ball skills and reaction time, though he can also handle man-to-man coverage.
Long Range Potential: Decent cornerback.
