The Raiders re-signed Holmes (groin) to a one-year deal Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Holmes (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 18 game against the Chargers.
A fourth-round draft pick out of UCLA, he flashes good quickness and enough long speed to keep up with fast wide receivers at the highest level. He can line up both outside and as a slot corner, which adds to his value in the National Football League. Lacks optimum height (5'10") for an NFL corner, so his best long-term position may be in the slot. He is a work in progress in terms of his overall tackling ability as well as his coverage skills. Is adept at being around the ball for turnovers.
Long Range Potential: Versatile cornerback with upside.
