Coach Brian Daboll said Monday that Smith-Marsette checked out okay after he was evaluated for a concussion, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.

Speed is his biggest attribute. He is a deep threat every time he steps on the field, and he can also be effective in gadget plays and as a return man. He has a number of areas that need improvement, including his ball skills and ability to backtrack for the football, in order to earn more playing time.
