The well-built but smallish linebacker is not particularly athletic, but he diagnoses plays well and finds soft spots in blocking schemes to pile up tackles. He has good speed and hustle coming downhill, changes directions well and has good lateral agility. Does not tackle well on the outside; he has limited range to roam outside the box, and runners who bounce outside can run away from him. Also owns experience on special teams.
