Panthers coach Dave Canales said Wednesday that Tremble (back) won't practice soon but could be ready in three or four weeks, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
The Panthers placed Tremble (back) on the active/PUP list Monday.
The big tight end did not get a lot of playing time in college football but wasted little time showing he is capable of being a lead blocker in space at the NFL level. His biggest problems come when he is called upon to catch the ball; he has plenty of speed to go along with his size, but is still a work in progress as a route runner and has to improve his catching skills.
Long Range Potential: Raw but talented tight end.
