The Eagles exercised Davis' fifth-year option Wednesday.
Davis tallied 27 tackles (15 solo), including one sack, and two passes defended while playing in all 17 regular-season games in 2024. He added six tackles (four solo), including two sacks, and one pass defense across four playoff appearances.
The massive defensive tackle has the size and power to plug up an opponent's interior running game. He can shed single blockers and tie up double teams, allowing linebackers to make plays on ball carriers. He is not terribly quick, is not likely to generate a lot of pass rush and will not fill up the stats sheet, but he can alter an opponent's game plan with his ability to plug holes between the tackles.
Long Range Potential: Powerful run-stopping defensive lineman.
