Booth finished Sunday's 41-7 loss to Philadelphia with six tackles (three solo) and one pass defense.
The Cowboys have acquired Booth via trade from Minnesota in exchange for Nashon Wright, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
He has the length and athleticism teams want in cornerbacks, though his experience as a college football starter was limited; he needs more development in order to avoid being taken to school by good route runners. He defends well against the run, has good ball-hawking skills and quick feet. Fits into most schemes, although he is probably better in zone coverage than in man-to-man schemes.
Long Range Potential: Toolsy cornerback.
