Hall said at mandatory minicamp Wednesday he's motivated "to go prove that I am 'The Guy'" to a new regime led by new head coach Aaron Glenn, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.
New Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that Hall is one of three running backs that the team wants to "utilize as much as possible," Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The cousin of 1980s NFL star running back Roger Craig has similar three-down talent, combining size, power and creativity with soft hands out of the backfield. Is durable and has a nose for the end zone (24 straight games with a rushing touchdown in college football). Has the kind of drive needed to get the key yards that keep the chains moving. Will have to be more decisive to cope with the increased speed at the NFL level.
Long Range Potential: Excellent all-around running back.
