Williams (ankle) has been an active participant at the 49ers' OTAs, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
49ers general manager John Lynch said Wednesday at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine that Williams (ankle) is "motivated" and will return for a 16th season in the NFL as a member of the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Excels in pass protection, using great hand technique. Can also really power his way into the second level as a run blocker. A top-tier athlete with a great overall package of power, strength, mobility and footwork. Overall intensity is a question mark; must still prove that he can bring his A-game on every snap. Overall fundamentals need refinement. Has been in some off-field trouble.
Long Range Potential: Star-level offensive tackle.
