The Cardinals placed Brewer (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that Brewer was dealing with an injury to his right pectoral ahead of Sunday's game at Atlanta, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Brings excellent blocking size and athleticism for his long snapper duties, with some ability to line up at tight end in a pinch. Has enjoyed solid success early in his NFL career. Pretty reliable with his snapping duties and will hustle to make tackles on special teams. Doesn't have a great deal of experience at tight end. Must keep working to develop his consistency and versatility at the pro level.
Long Range Potential: Big, athletic, starting long snapper.
