Through the Patriots' first eight practices in training camp, Evan Lazar of the team's official site notes that Diggs (knee) "is a cut above at the receiver position due to his separation quickness, efficient movements and ability to win at the catch point with magnet hands."
Coach Mike Vrabel reported no physical restrictions for Diggs (knee) during Wednesday's opening training camp practice, Paul Perillo of the Patriots' official site reports.
Supremely sure-handed: makes tough catches regularly, and shows excellent concentration in tracking the ball and reeling it in. Boasts above-average speed and strong field vision and anticipation, factors helping him miss tackles and get consistently productive yardage. Possesses value as a return man too. Not ideally-sized for the NFL wideout spot, and while fast he's not a lights-out deep threat. Also not particularly physical with the jam at the line or on blocking assignments. Must keep improving his physique so he doesn't need to depend so heavily on reading the 'D.'
