Kuzmin was traded from Winnipeg to Chicago in exchange for Isaak Phillips on Wednesday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
The smallish defenseman from Belarus is a smooth skater who compensates for a lack of size with terrific mobility and excellent puck skills. He plays with confidence with the puck on his stick and can handle himself in all situations. He came to North America after being drafted and stepped right into a regular role in the OHL, which is a very good sign for his NHL prospects.
Long Range Potential: Mobile, talented defenseman with some upside.
