Scouting Report
Knew where to be on the ice and had the wheels to get there. Had excellent hockey sense and good speed–one of his nicknames was "Quicky". Was very responsible defensively and an outstanding penalty killer. However, he was not very big and was never much of an offensive force at the NHL level, though he could play the role of the defensive conscience on a line with attack-oriented teammates. Unfortunately, injury got the better of him and ended his NHL career prematurely.
Long Range Potential: Solid checking winger and penalty-killing specialist.
