Nieto was promoted from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday under emergency conditions.
Scouting Report
The veteran forward still skates well as he exits the prime of his career. He also has the work ethic coaches like, if not the offensive consistency. Has made his NHL living as checker and penalty killer who contributes some scoring here and there, but his offensive numbers are dropping off as his career goes on.
Long Range Potential: Hard-working veteran winger.
