The Angels acquired Garcia and Andrew Chafin from the Nationals on Wednesday in exchange for Jake Eder, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Garcia earned a save against Oakland on Sunday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.
Scouting Report
Has some experience closing games at the minor-league level, so he is able to handle pressure fairly well. When he is on his game, he can strike plenty of batters out. Stamina can be an issue for him in Major League Baseball. Also, he does not always display great control in the bigs, so walks can be a major problem for him.
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever.
